Faires

Jangled Jester is gathering a network of regional makers and vendors across Eastern Tennessee to come together and create fun, memorable faires and market events that elevate creative energy and new business opportunities throughout Appalachia.

*Accepting vendor and venue applicants (dates/locations TBA), please see below.

About our Faires

Jangled Jester focuses on lively markets and festivals that bring regional makers and vendors together across Eastern Tennessee. From artisan markets and seasonal faires to festive holiday markets, we aim to create fun, memorable gatherings that celebrate creativity and open new opportunities throughout Appalachia.

We're seeking to showcase small businesses and independent makers from boutiques, blacksmiths, to woodworkers, and other craftspeople alongside artists of all kinds (including AI art, in keeping with Jangled Jester’s celebration of technological progress and free expression). Also open to food trucks and cottage food makers, local produce suppliers, musicians, and a rotating mix of creative talent that keeps every market and faire novel, lively, and full of discovery.

Legal & Compliance

All vendors are required to carry and provide proof of adequate business and general liability insurance. Jangled Jester does not provide, write, or sell insurance policies. However, every accepted vendor receives personal recommendations from Jangled Jester including advice for affordable coverage options, step-by-step help getting set up, and clear instructions on how to submit your proof of insurance for approval.

Founder

About the Founder

Rebecca Kinsler is the founder of Jangled Jester and director of Jangled Jester Faires. With a long career in customer service and more than five years of experience in sales, popup marketing, and event planning, she saw a clear need for ongoing, high-quality community activities in her smaller hometown.

She now brings polished, big-city execution to a grassroots network of vendors, with the goal of enriching the rural parts of Eastern Tennessee. Known for her eye for unique venues and creative festival themes, Rebecca handles every technical detail of event hosting from securing locations and reviewing vendors to recruiting distinctive makers and crafters across the region. She is focused on creating vibrant, well-run faires that give regional makers a place to shine and local communities something special to look forward to.

Vendors

Please submit this application to be reviewed as a participant in Jangled Jester Faires. You will be invited to join a Facebook group for updates on upcoming faires.

Jangled Jester Faires operates as a talent scout for select makers and vendors. Applications are reviewed individually, and not every submission may be approved. Payment is only accepted after an application has been approved and a specific faire is confirmed. Once approved, vendors receive setup guidelines, event details, and vendor policies. Final logistics including parking, load-in times, and booth information will be provided before each event.

You will be responsible for providing your own tents, tables, chairs, and any other equipment essential to your business, setting it up, and breaking down.

Venues

If you have a space that could host a Jangled Jester Faire, please submit an application, and let's see how we can work together.

Partnering with us offers several benefits: our vendors carry their own insurance, the event brings new foot traffic and customers to your location (great for businesses), and we carefully plan for smooth setup and easy guest flow to ensure accessibility. Most of all, you’ll play a direct role in creating something special that helps transform your community into a more magical place.
